On the second day in Manzanillo it rained all morning, but eased off later in the day, so we went for a walk down the beach. I actually didn't spend much time on the beach itself, that weekend. The hotel was right by the sea, so it was more comfortable to sit in their deck chairs than to camp out under an umbrella getting covered with sand, and the pool (also right by the sea) was so lovely that I didn't venture into the ocean itself. Honestly, in the last few years I feel as though swimming in the ocean makes me feel a bit seasick. This would be a bit worrying except that my margarita consumption has also gone up in the last few years, so I expect the two things are related!

hey hey, okay so was looking for a way for you guys to get from LAX to downtown (downtown is basically the closest place you can check out in the amount of time you have...I would have totally suggested other places that are way cooler but oh well!) I think you can take a shuttle to the light rail that takes you to downtown (check out this guys blog post about it http://www.iflylax.com/lax_mont.html) and then from there you can just walk around downtown see the sights. If you google 500 days of summer+ downtown LA I think itll show you some spots that the movie featured that were pretty cool ;)
