On Saturday, my first weekend in my new flat (I'll try and get some pictures and introduce you soon enough) I ventured out alone, enjoying the solitude in the sunshine. It was one of those cool but sunny days, when you just want to reach out and embrace the sunlight. And you can see me doing just that in a few pictures!

And I know I'm florescent white. It took me about five minutes to lose my tan! And yes, I considered that putty colour I had before to be a tan!

  4. I've always found pale complexions to be really pretty. Also, whatever you were eating in the last photo (coffee cake?) looks so good. That is exactly what I want to eat right now.

  13. Thank you for the glimpse of Victoria Park, Emily! It looks like a beautiful place to while away in. I'm loving your tights and boots.

I enjoy those cool but sunny days too. It'd be grand to capture their essence in a bottle for later enjoyment, but since that isn't possible it's always a treat to relish them when they occur.

I like your photo of the maple leaves reaching up toward the sky. Just the other day my grandmother was curious as to what maples she has on her property and asked me to bring in some leaves for us to examine with her tree book. Haha, it was a good time.

  14. @ Emily: whew! I thought you were going to ask me to identify some maple leaves for a minute there! Would have showed up my total ignorance pretty quickly!
