salut!

No winery tour would be complete without sampling the goods, and I, characteristically of someone who rarely drives, over-sampled. I'm going to say that that picture of Dionysus whispered in my ear that I should try everything on offer: white, red, rosé and cava. I wouldn't want to accidentally miss out on the best one, would I? Luckily we went for an absolutely enormous typical Catalan meal in Vilafranca to soak it all up!

As before, these photos were taken at Vallformosa.

  5. I love this! Wineries seem so lovely and magical to me. They're timeless and seeped in tradition; it makes me so happy. Your outfit is lovely as well, those colors are so fall-like and perfect! <33

As far as Sherlock, I believe series 2 is supposed to be airing next year, either in the late summer or fall? I'm not exactly sure but I do know it'll be next year, and it involves the Hound of the Baskervilles!

  7. All of this sounds divine! Of course I love your ourfit very much. I think it is something I'd wear!

I really need to visit a wine farm and do some of my own sampling. I've never done that, even though South Africa is supposed to be the largest wine exporter.

  9. @ Anthea: The reason we went to this winery was because I kept dropping hints in South Africa that I'd really like to tour one!

  33. oh Emily, your outfit has so "wine-y" colours, you looked perfect for such occasion! hehe. I can see it also matched the bricks in the winery!
also how do you do that to your hair? is it braiding? I wish I could do at least something similar, though I lack the ability and my hair's cooperation (it's so heavy it'd fall down in half an hour), mehh :/

  34. @ Raquel:
Not braids, no, although sometimes I do make small braids. It's just pinned back a bit randomly, and for whatever reason that usually looks nice on my hair (which is pretty uncooperative about every other style)....

  35. looks like you had a great time, em :)

Although I've been to a winery, I haven't taken the full on tour and seen where it is made. That is really awesome :)

Have you been to the wineries in Ensenada? I had some good wine there :)
