February is one of those months that makes me want to go into hibernation, for various reasons, but here I'll just mention the style blogger ones. Winter, I've had it with you. I know you just began, but scram anyway. This is less of an outfit than a grumbled afterthought of "what haven't I worn together yet?" I've done some pattern-mixing to keep things rolling, but at -10 C I don't engage with fashion beyond that!
Also, I have a cold-sore. They don't usually make it onto the blog, but I'm human and I get them, and they're pretty much impossible to disguise with make-up so there you have it...
Anyone else ready for spring?

I love that coat. It's such a great shape & print. I'm so ready for spring. I find myself thinking it's 'warm' when the temps go up to 0 degrees!!
ReplyDeleteI think this looks supercute, all the different greys and blacks are interesting instead of dull. And YES IM SO OVER WINTER :(
ReplyDeleteAw man cold sores are the worst! But congrats on being human! I never photoshop my pictures for this reason: we all get pimples and "mommy tummys" and cold sores at some point. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I love your neutral look! The grays and blacks look fabulous with each other!
No more winter! No more winter!
So where are you now? Did you move away from Spain?
ReplyDeleteI'm always playing "Where's Waldo?" with you, except, it's "Where's Emily?"
adorable dress and coat, love the tights as well
ReplyDeleteVery cute and you are very brave for taking outfit photos when it's -10 outside!!!
ReplyDeleteA lovely outfit, I adore the polka dot tights! I understand what you mean by being ready for spring, I'm sick of layers and freezing all the time.
ReplyDeleteHope your move went well!
xx
Good job on the pattern mixing! I can never seem to get it right.
ReplyDeleteOh man I am so ready for spring! This winter has been especially harsh. I need to move to a warmer climate.
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with this outfit! The print mixing is perfection!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm actually not too angry with Winter yet, it hasn't been as cold as it usually is, so I'm not complaining yet, ha ha...but I'm sure I will be soon

Love the tights, and yes, Spring needs to come back very soon! x
ReplyDeleteOuch! My mom gets cold sores and they are painful - hope yours goes away quickly!
ReplyDeleteAs always...love the coat.
Stay warm...it's been 12 (F) here the last few mornings and hasn't warmed up to above 32 (F) during the day. Brrrr! I'm in layers until further notice...
Too cute! Absolutely love this look!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely ready for spring, but this winter outfit of yours is super cute.
ReplyDeleteYay, you're human. And you're a human that mixes plaids wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteDelightful outfit. Especially love the tights. And yes, let Spring come soon!

these tights and zara coat work really well together... x
ReplyDeleteCute shirt dress and tights! I heard Europe is experiencing one of its coldest winters. You look lovely, so glad that coat made another appearance and it's being put to good use. Last week I had the biggest zit on my cheek, Josh was out of town so no documentation of it but kudos to you for allowing yourself to be human it happens.
ReplyDeleteThe plaid on plaid looks fabulous, Emily. In fact, the entire outfit is fab. Hands down, new favorite.
ReplyDeleteIt was about -10C/14F here this morning. I did not enjoy leaving the house. So yes, I am more than ready for spring.
Great look. I especially love the tights.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is a pattern mixing dream! Hope you're staying warm beautiful.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Cuuuute! I completely understand about wanting to hibernate during February, but luckily, here in Iowa its been pretty mild! (But i'm still pretty lazy when it comes to taking pictures outside). I love this outfit, it looks so polished! <3
ReplyDeleteI actually love that you posted w/ a cold sore. It happens to the best of us & although magically my skin looks better in pictures than real life it's totally silly to hide reality. you look adorable as well- great use of the diff patterns. & I can't believe it's so freezing in Barcelona! I just always figure it's same as here in winter... as in hot already.

Winter, go away NOW!! My version of Winter started back in November, so I'm SO over the snow and frigid cold :)
ReplyDeleteLayering might be the only good part to Winter...
Hang in there!!
