misty rhineland and white legs

Photobucket

I just spent a lovely weekend in Bonn, riding my old vintage bicycle (unfortunately a few sizes too big though, I'm a bit unintentionally kamikaze on it) up the Rhine in search of a hot chocolate.

I was expecting my new white tights to be shining in the springtime sunshine, but instead it was a cool and misty day... still I think they went well enough with the washed-out landscape!

I want a vintage bike! haha :D
Loving the outfit and your french braid, I remember I used to wear white tights all the time when I was younger...sadly I fear they don't look good on my anymore ;)

You look gorgeous! I love the pop of bright white. I also spent the weekend cycling along a german riverside bike path with a french braid...coincidences abound!

I'm really liking this easy, oh-so-cozy looking outfit. And the hints of bright color in your scarf and shoes really take the cake.

That last picture is awesome! (Not that the others aren't, haha)

Upon reading your title I thought you were bare legged! But that must be maybe because my legs are so white from lack of sunshine that the mention of white legs automatically reminds me of that! Anyway, your whole outfit is great, including the white tights :)

Sounds like such a lovely day! I would love to ride my bike down the rhine in search of hot chocolate, sigh. I only ever got in a boat down the rhine, but it certainly was not the cosy Germany I was expecting hehe. Love your scarf btw! x

@Closet Fashionista: I always think of white tights as being for little girls too... but maybe that's why I'm enjoying them so much right now!

@Louise: Coincidences indeed! Although I seemed to arrive just in time for the bad weather.

@Raquel: hehe, I just think as these tights as a bare-legs replacement at the moment. They are almost the colour of my legs I think!

You must be the cutest girl on a bike I've ever seen! I loved the white tights and polka dotted dress, bet they'll look as cute on springy sunny days!

Your hair looks lovely! Sadly, I can never get my braids to look that good when I do them myself, haha. I'm hopeless.

It's a bummer that the bike is too big, but at least it is adorable :)

Aww, thanks Miss Porkchop!

@Laura: True story, until last year I had never, ever done a French braid. You can learn it!

You do fit in nicely with the landscape ad white tights make a great alternative to the ubiquitous opaque black tights. Also the sunglasses and scarf are very elegant.
