skip to my lou
I wore this for hanging out in Bristol on a Saturday... going for a big breakfast, skipping down the street past the murals, later taking my laptop out to work on the book, while stuffing myself with Portuguese custard tarts and tea.
The skirt and blouse are both new, both sales scores. I wasn't going to go anywhere near the stores, but I have a friend who's a bad influence (ahem, cough--Aga--cough cough). Anyway, it feels nice to have a little wardrobe revitalization, especially since winter doesn't seem to be going anywhere, boo hisss. The skirt is wool and cozy, and is perfectly squishy and great for spinning in. I've had the airplane pin for years, as I was a huge fan of vintage planes growing up.
