A lightning-quick hello
I'm jet-lagged, I've got an itinerary a mile long, I love this city so far, but I wish I'd brought about twenty extra scarves (I had no idea there was such a freezing wind here). I've had an amazing pastrami sandwich, a cool peanut butter doughnut, and some frankly horrible $8 tiramisu, a lot of coffee. I'm revelling in the accents, both English and Spanish. I'm loving how friendly everyone is... I can't remember the last time a stranger offered me help on the street (that would never happen in London, or Barcelona).
Hope you're all well!
Oh, and check out the lovely Miss Molly's feature of me in her Muse Project! I just wish that that pretend vacation she had me pack for was a real one!

New York is a conundrum. It has the best to offer... and the worst. One needs to be careful in making choices.
It's a little cool but sunny today. Enjoy it. Rain is coming tomorrow and snow is predicted for Friday!
Empire state of mind honey! Don't worry about not packing enough scarves, take this as the opportunity to hunt for some cute ones, you'll find amazing thrift stores over there, can't wait to see more!

Welcome! Yep, it's amazing how windy it can be even when you're surrounded by buildings. Particularly on the west side!
hope you have a great trip, which by the sounds of it looks to be in that direction.
You're looking too lovely to be jet lagged! ;)
Enjoy every moment in NYC. It's my favorite city in the world.

Welcome to the States! I've driven through NY state many times, but have managed to avoid NYC up to this point in my life. Like all big cities - it has it's good points and it's not-so-good points. I hope you hit all the good ones and skip the bad while you're there! Enjoy your time!
Hello :))) Enjoy your stay
You're in my 2nd home & favorite place in the world- enjoy!! Can't wait to hear all about your trip. ^_^
thats funny that you say that about New York because New Yorkers (especially the ones from the city) have a reputation for being the rudest people in the U.S! Glad to read that the stereotype is being proven wrong ;)
Such a great shot of you in NYC, hope you get back home safely, so glad we were able to link up.
