With that in mind I'll begin things with the unexpected week I spent in England last week. I arrived in Manchester nine hours before my ride to Whitby (on the North-East coast) did, and spent a day wandering the city centre. As I'd dressed for what I remembered English summers to be, and it was actually about 30 degrees and sunny, I had to stop and buy myself something a little more weather appropriate. Luckily the summer sales had just started!
